We know that women are exposed to different risks from men, and are typically less likely to buy certain products such as life insurance or long term care. There is a clear opportunity for businesses to explore new ways of better serving their needs.

Our goal

Identify new and improved products and services to address the needs and preferences of women as personal and professional buyers of insurance.

What we will do

  • Collaborate with the profession and key stakeholders, such as the trade bodies and the regulator, to understand existing insurance risk solutions for women, including undertaking surveys and analysis, as appropriate
  • Share results of “women’s risks in life” surveys and analyses with the profession
  • Where appropriate liaise with the profession to facilitate innovation of new and improved products and services for women
